This Returns Policy outlines your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as well as the options we offer for change-of-mind returns.
🛡 Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
You are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product is:
- Faulty or damaged
- Not as described
- Not of acceptable quality
- Doesn’t do what it’s supposed to
🔁 Change-of-Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns on full-priced items if you:
- Notify us within 14 days of receiving your order
- Return the item within 7 days of approval
- Ensure the item is unworn, unused, with tags and packaging, and in original condition
Please note:
- Return shipping is at the customer’s expense
- Shipping fees are non-refundable
- Returns that don’t meet the above conditions may be refused
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
- Sale or discounted items
- Earrings or intimate apparel
- Gift cards
- Items marked “Final Sale”
💸 Refunds & Store Credit
- Approved refunds go to the original payment method
- Store credit (optional) is valid for 12 months
- Allow 5–10 business days for your bank to process the refund
✉️ How to Start a Return
- Email info@opalq.com with your order number and reason
- Wait for instructions and approval
- Ship the item to the provided return address
- Keep tracking as proof of return
📦 Damaged or Incorrect Items
Contact info@opalq.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll take care of it quickly.
⏰ Processing Time
Returns are reviewed within 3–5 business days after delivery. We'll notify you by email once processed.
